1. Who we are
blckit Web is developed and maintained by Agyeman Enterprises. Contact: hello@blckit.co
2. What blckit processes
blckit processes text you type or paste into supported websites for the sole purpose of detecting and sealing sensitive data before it is transmitted. This processing happens entirely on your device — no text is ever sent to our servers.
blckit does NOT:
- Send any text, tokens, or metadata to Agyeman Enterprises servers
- Collect analytics, usage data, or telemetry
- Store data outside your local browser storage
- Share any data with third parties
- Process data from websites not listed in the extension's host_permissions
- Track you across sites or sessions
blckit DOES:
- Read text from compose fields on supported sites for local detection only — this reading happens in the content script in your browser, not on any server
- Store an AES-256-GCM encryption key in
chrome.storage.local— this key never leaves your device - Store a tamper-evident audit ledger of seal events in IndexedDB — this ledger never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it

3. Data storage
All data blckit stores is:
- Local to your browser only
- Never transmitted to any server
- Exportable by you at any time via the extension popup
- Deletable by you at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing browser storage
4. Permissions explained

blckit does not request: history, bookmarks, cookies, identity, geolocation, camera, microphone, or access to any site not explicitly listed.
5. Email capture (blckit.co website only)
If you submit your email address on blckit.co, we store it solely to notify you when the extension launches or updates. We do not sell, share, rent, or use this email for any purpose beyond blckit product communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@blckit.co.
6. Cookies and tracking
blckit.co does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. The only third-party resource loaded is Google Fonts (for typography). Google Fonts serves fonts via CSS and may log IP addresses per Google's own privacy policy.
7. Children
blckit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us at hello@blckit.co.
8. Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify users via the browser store update mechanism. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
