Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By installing or using the blckit browser extension or visiting blckit.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use blckit.
2. What blckit is
blckit is a browser extension that intercepts sensitive data in compose fields before it is transmitted to third-party services. blckit provides a best-effort detection and sealing layer — it is not a substitute for a formal information security program, HIPAA compliance infrastructure, or legal counsel.
3. License
blckit is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). You may install and use blckit for personal and internal non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense blckit
- Use blckit as the basis of a competing commercial service
- Remove or alter copyright notices or license terms
The full license text is available at github.com/Agyeman-Enterprises/blckit/blob/main/LICENSE. On 24 June 2029, the license converts to Apache 2.0.

4. No warranty
blckit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Agyeman Enterprises makes no guarantee that blckit will catch every instance of sensitive data, perform without error, or be free from bugs. Detection is best-effort; blckit is not a guarantee of compliance.
blckit is not a HIPAA-compliant solution in isolation. Healthcare providers seeking HIPAA coverage should contact us about blckit Clinical, which includes a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Agyeman Enterprises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of blckit, including but not limited to data breaches resulting from undetected sensitive data, or loss of data resulting from extension malfunction.
6. Permitted use
You agree to use blckit only for lawful purposes. You may not use blckit to circumvent legal obligations, facilitate unauthorized access to third-party systems, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
7. Updates and changes
Agyeman Enterprises may update blckit and these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the browser store update mechanism. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to revoke your license to use blckit at any time if you violate these terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the extension.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction of Agyeman Enterprises. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
